Though a
moderate risk w/ 15% hatched tornado probability was forecast this day, not much materialized in terms of tornadoes or even high-end severe. We targeted the western KS region, and latched onto a pretty, LPish-type storm near Tribune, KS. The storm was relatively slow moving, and had a nice dual-corkscrew updraft complete with numerous anticyclonic funnels. It seemed to run into cold air near Lake Scott, which ended the chase.
